Jordan is a seasoned litigator. Over the last 17 years, he has become one of the leaders of the bar in professional and industry regulation, acting for regulators, professionals, and licensed businesses. He has acted for 16 separate professional regulators and licensing bodies in areas as diverse as health, education, engineering, law, immigration, liquor licensing and the retirement homes industry on various mandates. He applies his knowledge gained from working with regulators to assist professionals and licensed businesses facing regulatory challenges.

Jordan’s value proposition for his professional clients and licensed businesses is simple. He is a lawyer who is trusted by regulators on some of their most challenging legal issues. Jordan applies his depth of knowledge from the regulator’s perspective and his empathy, honed from years of defending clients in the criminal courts, to strategically assist professionals and regulated businesses when their license to practice is at stake. He routinely assists professionals and businesses in the healthcare, financial services, securities, privacy, cannabis, and environmental industries, to name a few.
Jordan first honed his litigation skills working with some of the most recognizable names in criminal law including Brian Greenspan, Eddie Greenspan and Marie Henein. He continues to represent professionals in the criminal courts and understands that every professional charged with a criminal offence will also face regulatory challenges. Jordan is equally skilled at handling criminal and regulatory matters and assists clients where these two areas of law intersect in quasi-criminal prosecutions such as those brought about by the Joint Serious Offences Team of the Ontario Securities Commission.
Between 2010 and 2018, Jordan was a Member of the Regulatory Group at Weirfoulds LLP where, in 2014, he was made a partner.
In 2018, Jordan founded GlickLaw on the belief that he could provide more nimble and cost-effective services to clients within a boutique environment.
Jordan has since been ranked in the Lexpert Guide for leading practitioners and has been recognized by “Best Lawyers” since 2018. In 2017, Jordan was awarded the Lexpert Rising Stars Award honouring the top Canadian lawyers under the age of 40.
Jordan is a husband and father of three. When he is not at work, you can find him trying to keep up with his kids on skis, in a kayak, or a canoe.
