Lisa is a dedicated advocate and trusted advisor, with over a decade of litigation experience. She assists regulators, professionals, and licensed businesses to resolve legal issues. Lisa has the unique ability to view a dispute from every vantage point, having acted as prosecutor, defence counsel, and adjudicator.

Lisa is the firm’s key contact for employment and human rights matters. She represents both employers and employees, providing proactive advice, negotiating disputes, and litigating when necessary. She also conducts workplace investigations and is attuned to handling sensitive issues in a respectful and discrete manner.
Lisa acts as counsel to regulators, appearing before tribunals in disciplinary, fitness to practice, human rights, and registration matters. Lisa also represents regulators in civil matters before the courts, including judicial review applications and appeals.
Drawing upon her experience as prosecution counsel, Lisa assists professionals to protect their license when responding to investigations, disciplinary matters, and other litigation. She also regularly advises professionals on their professional obligations when starting up a new practice or leaving a workplace.
Lisa is called to the Bar in both Ontario and British Columbia. Originally from Ontario, Lisa completed her joint law and master’s degrees in Ottawa in 2011. She then articled as a judicial law clerk for the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Toronto. Following her call to the Bar in 2012, Lisa practiced labour/employment, professional regulation, and human rights in Toronto for three years, before moving to Smithers, BC. In Smithers, Lisa worked both in private practice and as a criminal prosecutor. She served as an elected Bencher of the Law Society of British Columbia from 2020-2021. In 2022, Lisa left the mountains to return home to family and friends in Ontario and joined GlickLaw.
Lisa is based in Hamilton, Ontario, but serves clients across Ontario and Canada. She is active in her community and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hamilton Community Legal Clinic and volunteers on the School Council of her daughter’s public school. Lisa cherishes lazy weekend mornings with a good book and strong cup of coffee, followed by dragging her children along for a hike in the escarpment.
